J.M Barrie and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children
1B
J. M. Barrie likes children very much. He wants children to be well and happy.
In London there is a hospital for sick children called Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.Barrie often visits this hospital because he wants to help the children.
Barrie is a very generous man. In 1929 he makes an important decision: all the money from book sales, films and theatre shows of Peter Pan goes to the hospital. This also continues after Barrie's death. This money helps the children, the hospital, the doctors and the nurses.
Peter Pan is performed once a year at the hospital. This is a very happy event for the children.
